About First Fruits Farm
We believe that God created the world. "The Earth is the Lord's and the fullness thereof, the world and they that dwell therein" (Psalm 24:1). Even as He placed Adam in the garden to tend it, He entrusts us to be stewards of the Land. Our purpose, then, is to honor and glorify God by tending the land in a manner that would please Him. The result is high-quality food grown naturally in soil that is chemical-free. Our vision for the future includes adding livestock to the Farm, developing new ways to educate and train people who are interested in sustainable farming, providing food for those who are less fortunate, and increasing the amount of produce that we grow from heirloom seed that can be saved and replanted the next year.
Our Goals
~ To raise and harvest, distribute, donate, and sell wholesome, nutritious food.
~ To raise, harvest and preserve food for storage and seed for future planting.
~ To maintain and further develop the quality of the land.
~ To provide an environment of Christian fellowship that will promote and encourage the development and expression of Godly character traits and God-given gifts and talents.
~ To improve and sustain the overall appearance of the farm.
~ To implement training and teaching opportunities for adults and children.
~ To market the Farm's products for the purpose of funding the charitable, religious, and educational programs of this organization.
~ To manage this organization according to Biblical principles.
